In a landmark ruling on February 4, 2010, the African Commission on Human and People's Rights condemned the expulsion of the Endorois people from their land in Kenya to make way for a wildlife reserve. The evidence before the Commission included accounts by the Endorois people packaged in the first, 9-minute video clip below. In 2007, Rightful Place: Endorois' Struggle for Justice, a 16-minute documentary on the community's plight, was produced. This documentary, appears below the evidentiary package. The material was published by international human rights organization, WITNESS, and its partner, CEMIRIDE (Kenya) and the documentary was made in collaboration with Minority Rights Group.
