Kenya Power Rolls Out Prepaid Meters

Kenya Power will begin rolling out retrofit pre-paid meters countrywide. This follows the successful pilot that had been launched earlier in previous parts of the country. The company targets to fix 520 thousand prepaid meters by June 2013, at a cost of 5.8 billion shillings. Elsewhere Kenya Power security together with police officers in Kisii have intercepted Kenya Power vandalized equipment worth over Sh 2 million and arrested a suspect.
