With the fifth BRICS summit due to kick off in Durban on Tuesday, it is widely anticipated that more details will emerge of a bank for the economic bloc.


A key objective of the bank is to help members pool resources for industrial development, and to be a source of funding when the global economy is weak.
The ability of South Africa and the four other member countries to implement policies will also come under the spotlight.
