The Hawks have suffered a second embarrassing setback in their case against the alleged mastermind in a high-profile assassination plot. The charge of conspiracy to commit murder has been watered down to incitement to commit murder. Allegedly targeted for assassination,19 people including cabinet members, senior officials at state-owned entities and prominent South Africans. All believed to be beneficiaries of state capture and white monopoly capital.
