Ramaphosa Says Smear Campaign Against Him Shows Escalation of a Dirty War

Deputy president, Cyril Ramaphosa says a social smear campaign against him represents an escalation of a dirty war against those working to restore the values, principles, and integrity of the African National Congress and society. Ramaphosa was reacting to questions put to him by the Sunday Independent relating to suggestions- that he had paid money to young women with whom he was allegedly in relationships. Ramaphosa has admitted to having an affair with his doctor eight years ago, but adds that he and his wife have put put the matter behind them.
