"It was a little bit challenging at first because it was something beyond our scope of practice,"- Clara Chidzimba describes how she felt about our teams NCD project in Manicaland, Zimbabwe which successfully rolled out a nurse-led model of care for Diabetes Mellitus (DM) and Hypertension (HTN) in a rural context of a low-income country from July 2016 to June 2019, adapted from an HIV model of care implemented in a similar context.
