Ghana: Black Queens Commence Preparation for Olympic Games Qualifiers

The senior national female football team, the Black Queens, commenced camping yesterday at the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence (GSCE) at Prampram.

In camp are the 33 players selected by the Head Coach of the team, Nora Häuptle.

The team is preparing for a Paris 2024 Olympic Games qualifier against Guinea over two legs on July 10-18, 2023.

The selected players include Achiaa Anasthesia (Ampem Darkoa Ladies FC); Adjei Konadu Vivian (Gokulam Kerala FC); Adubea Princella (Kirat GAT); Agbomadzi Blessing Shine (AS Far Rabat); Alhassan Adama (Army Ladies); Ama Duah Susan (Avaldesines FC) Amponsah Mary (Ampem Darkoa Ladies FC); Asantewaa Grace (Real Betis Feminas); Assifuah Gifty (1207 Antalya Spor); Abambila Ernestina (TME SMS Looz); Afi Amenyeku (Northern Ladies) and Ameyaa Success (Hasaacas Ladies FC).

The others are Martha Appiah (Berry Ladies); Badu Evelyne (Avaldsines FC); Boaduwaa Doris (Hasaacas Ladies FC); Portia Boakye (Djurgarden); Bugre Azumah (IFK Norrkoping); Cudjoe Jennifer (FC Nordsjaeland); Janet Egyir (Hapoel Jerusalem Katamon); Eshun Linda (Hasaacas Ladies) and Alice Kusi (Fenerbahce Spor Kolobo).

The rest are Konlan Findib Cynthia (Sweqi United FC); McCarthy Kerrie (Kumasi Sports Academy); Nyamekye Stella (Dreamz Ladies); Owusu Mavis (Ampem Darkoa Ladies); Osei Victoria (Ampem Darkoa Ladies); Owusu Princess (Fabulous Ladies); Owusu Jacqueline (Emek Kefer); Salifu Safiatu (Yanga Princess); Tweneboaa Justice (Bak Kazygurt) and Yakubu Fiduos (Hasaacas Ladies).
