Watchdogs Blast Ethnic Cleansing in Sudan's South Kordofan

Amnesty International and Human Rights Watch have collected evidence indicating that the Sudanese Armed Forces may have committed war crimes in Southern Kordofan, the organizations said.

Since early July, three thousand people have been living in caves and under boulders on the mountain to escape near daily Sudanese government bombing in their home areas. The displaced say Antonov planes have also bombed the mountain side. At least 150,000 people have fled their homes and indiscriminate aerial bombardment since early June.
