Leadership Crisis in South African Police Force?
Suspended National Police Commissioner, General Bheki, has reportedly been fired by President Jacob Zuma after he received the Board of Inquiry report which investigated allegations of misconduct against Cele. This came just days after former spy chief Richard Mdluli was interdicted from performing any duties as a police officer.
On 17 May 2010 the SAPS demonstrated along with Emergency Services how efficient they will be during the 2010 World Cup. Thousands of spectators joined the parade through the streets of Sandton.
