Lawmakers Debate Varsity of Rwanda Bill

The parliamentary standing committee on education commenced its deliberations on a bill to establish a single university. The tertiary institution aims to ensure better quality of education and proper management of human and capital resources.

Graduation (file photo): In the proposed structure, the University of Rwanda will be comprised of colleges, schools and departments not faculties as the case currently.
