Uganda Clamps Down on Media Over Alleged Museveni Plot

Human Rights Watch has condemned police raid of the Daily Monitor newspaper and radio station over an article published alleging the succession plot of President Yoweri Museveni's son to power.

Daily Monitor staff locked in and not allowed to leave by the police.
