Kenya Seeks to Amend VAT Law

Members of Parliament has passed the Value Added Tax Amendment Bill that will see many food items and goods, including mosquito nets, exempted from tax - this while it seeks to cushion farmers from high pricing of farming equipment, thereby stimulating growth within the agriculture sector.
