Nigeria Govt Moves to Place Factory Safety First

Minister of Labour and Employment Chris Ngige has emphasised government's committment to enforcing the Factories Act of 1990 to ensure the safety of workers and employers at their places of work. He also explained how building plans are approved without input from occupational health and safety engineers - a practice that the minister wants to stop.
