Kenya: Plan to Ban Plastic Bottles Stopped Days to Deadline

The National Environment Management Authority had given plastic bottle manufacturers until April 31 to install collection points across the country. Negotiations are instead already at an advanced stage to initiate a take-back scheme to encourage recycling.
