Former Cape Town Mayor De Lille Launches New Party

Patricia de Lille is to form an as-yet unnamed political party, the former mayor of Cape Town has announced. She said the new party's name and policy positions would be announced in two weeks, while it would be officially launched in January next year before contesting the elections in every province in South Africa. De Lille resigned amid much controversy as mayor and Democratic Alliance member on October 31.
