Former South African President Mbeki Offers to Help Zimbabwe

Former South African President Thabo Mbeki has met Zimbabwean President Emmerson Mnangagwa and opposition MDC-Alliance leader Nelson Chamisa separately in Harare. After his meeting with Mnangagwa, Mbeki said South Africa was willing to assist Zimbabwe in resolving the challenges it was facing. Chamisa said that an anticipated dialogue between himself and the president, brokered by Mbeki, could bring meaningful change.
