According to the head of the European Union mission to Malawi, the EU will not send observers to the southern African country as the Malawi Electoral Commission has not invited them to observing the polls. Meanwhile, the AU and SADC officials also said it was difficult to confirm whether they would send their missions to Malawi because of uncertainty about the final date of the poll.
