In Zimbabwe, Calls For Health Minister's Ouster Grow Louder

This comes after Zimbabwe's Health Minister Obadiah Moyo was charged with criminal abuse of office, accused of illegally awarding a multi-million-dollar contract for COVID-19 medical supplies to a shadowy company that sold the government U.S.$28 face masks and other materials at inflated prices. Meanwhile, thousands of health workers have downed their tools, demanding payment of salaries in U.S. dollars because soaring inflation has drastically reduced the value of their local-currency salaries.
