Nelson Mandela Day celebrations were held across South Africa and in many parts of the world on Tuesday. The Elders have launched a year-long campaign to support civil society groups and governments on issues of peace, justice, health and equality, as part of the continuation of the legacy of former President Nelson Mandela.
