Ghana is the world's 2nd largest cocoa producer but for decades, much of its value has been exported in raw form. Plot Enterprise Ghana chose a different path. Building a processing plant from the ground up to transform cocoa beans into high-value finished products, creating jobs and retaining wealth within the country. With Afreximbank's support, their plant capacity surged by 90%. This is industrialization with a human face: stronger farmer networks, skilled careers, and a nation moving up the value chain. Impact Stories S2 explores how Africa is learning to process more, trade more, and finally prosper from its own soil.
