Rwanda Intensifies Fight Against Banana Disease
The government has stepped up efforts to control the banana xanthomonas wilt that has so far affected more than 2000 hectares of farmland.
Bananas remain the main crop both for daily consumption and national economy as it occupies more than 20 percent of the total cultivated land.
