Long-time President Robert Mugabe has said there is no suitable successor to him for next year's elections, and he has no intention of stepping down. Critics accuse Mugabe of failing to tackle high-level graft and say endemic corruption caused the country's economic woes, but Mugabe blames sanctions by the European Union and the United States.
