South Africa's Lieutenant-General Matakata To Head Crimes Unit
Lieutenant-General Yolisa Matakata has been appointed as the new Acting Chief of the Hawks, a priority crime investigation unit of the South African Police Services. She takes over the reins from the disgraced former head, Berning Ntlemeza, whose appointment was ruled invalid by a high court.
