No Bail Yet for Tanzanian Opposition MP Facing Sedition Charge

The Kisutu Resident Magistrate's Court has sent Tundu Lissu, the opposition MP for Singida East, back to jail until Thursday to await an objection to bail by the prosecution. Lissu, who is also the President of the Tanganyika Law Society, was arraigned before the Dar es Salaam Court to face a fresh count of sedition.
