Supersand Eagles Shine at Nigeria's #CopaLagos

Beach soccer, founded in Brazil in the 1940's, finally made its way to Nigeria in the mid-2000s when the Supersand Eagles team was established. The Copa Lagos Championship was held at the Eko Atlantic Sports Stadium this past weekend and the event featured four clubs and four national teams. Lagos Governor Akinwumi Ambode was thrilled with the performance by national team the Supersand Eagles as well as club team Gidi Sharks.
