Nigeria Says 14.8 Million People Affected by Boko Haram
Tijjani Bande, Nigeria's Permanent Representative of Nigeria to the United Nations, has told the Security Council that 14.8 million people have been affected by the crisis. He said 1.7 million people were internally displaced, with the most adversely affected being women and children.
