The U.S. Ambassador to Cameroon Peter Henry Barlerin has accused the army of targeted assassinations in the north-west and south-west regions. He also advised President Paul Biya not to stand for re-election and thereby secure his legacy, following the examples set by former Presidents Nelson Mandela and George Washington.
