The festive season is notorious for fatal road crashes as thousands of South Africans make their way to various destinations for holidays. Motorists have been urged to exercise caution by having their vehicles checked before taking to the roads. Gauteng Traffic Department's Busaphi Nxumalo says people must avoid drinking and driving.
