Mugabe to Explain Claim of U.S.$15 Billion in Lost Diamond Revenue

Zimbabwe's former President Robert Mugabe may be required to appear before the countries parliament to explain his claim that 15 billion dollars of diamond revenue had been stolen. A parliamentary committee probing the saga has indicated that it may summon Mugabe, alongside two former mining ministers to help them get to the bottom of the matter. The former president claimed in 2016 that foreign companies were to blame for the billions of dollars lost. The parliamentary committee is investigating leaks in the diamond mining sector
