Lack of Capacity Was Behind SASSA's Failure to Pay Grants - Dlamini

Social development minister, Bathabile Dlamini, says lack of capacity was behind SASSA's failure to meet its payment deadline to social grant beneficiaries last April. Speaking on the first day of the week-long inquiry into her role in the social grants saga in Johannesburg, Dlamini also alleged that none of the bosses had a problem with the work of appointed advisory committees known as workstreams.
