Top Opposition Politician Charged With Treason in Zimbabwe

MDC Vice-Chairperson Job Sikhala, who allegedly said his party would overthrow President Emmerson Mnangagwa's government before the next elections, faces 20 years in prison if convicted. Human rights lawyers say Sikhala is the 21st person to be charged with subversion since January 2019.
