Serve Kenya Diligently, President Urges New High Court Judges
President William Ruto has challenged the 20 newly appointed High Court judges to serve the people of Kenya with unfailing integrity and commitment.
Ruto has called on the judicial officers to apply the law with equity as enshrined in the Constitution.
He further stated that serving in a state office is a demanding undertaking underwritten by high public expectations.
The Judicial Service Commission said they picked them based on merit, gender, regional balance and affirmative action.
In September, 2022, Ruto appointed six Appeal Court judges previously sidelined by his predecessor Uhuru Kenyatta, saying there was no basis not to appoint them as recommended by the Judicial Service Commission (JSC).
