Zimbabwe: Barclays Plc Announces Africa exit

Barclays Bank Zimbabwe Managing Director George Guvamatanga speaks on Barclays Plc's plans to leave Africa by 2019. Barclays Plc owns 68% of Barclays Bank Zimbabwe. Guvatanga told an analyst briefing that the financial institution would maintain its presence in Zimbabwe. The bank reported an after tax of US$6,6 million for the full year to December 31, 2015 from the US$3,9 million recorded during the same period in 2014.
