Zimbabwe: Six Diamond Mining Bosses In Court

SIX Zimbabwe Mining Development Corporation and Canadile Miners executives, who were arrested last week, yesterday appeared in court on charges of fraudulently acquiring diamond mining claims in Chiadzwa, while three more investors were licensed to mine in Chiadzwa.

President Robert Mugabe: Political observers say that the arrests of the mining officials could be a result of conflict within the ruling party.
