Early arrivals to the small but efficient cafeteria at the Last Chance Investment and Manufacturing Company were greeted with a chaotic scene. Dozens of workers from the next door Ministry of Fantasy Economics and Unicorn Ranchers armed with serving tongs were chasing the cooks and staff out of the lunchroom. A 3X sized assistant Minister, wolfing down a rather large leg of fried chicken addressed the lunch goers: " We have decided that we can no longer tolerate the non indiginization of your buffet. As a first step, we will confiscate these decadent eats which you have flaunted in our face. Until we figure out how to replenish the freezers and stockroom after we have cleaned them out, you are requested to go on a diet. You will be expected to pay for the lunches you would have eaten if we had not changed your economic model. Please line up and turn over the cash to the men at the door. Dollars preferred, but Rands gladly accepted. No checks or IOU's"
Xenophia rules in Zimbabwe. Good things the South African government is not as xenophobic, or millions of OUR citizens would be chased out under the guise of "creating employment for South African's first".
Zimbabwe are our brothers and sisters and we should'nt take out our issues to one another but strengthen our friendship and business ties. Does it matter if a South African company do business in Zimbabwe or visa versa as a matter of fact it does'nt. The reason why i say this is becuase there are more Zimbabweans in South Africa than the are South Africans in Zimbabwe. However; together we can work things out and invest in one another to create work for both sides and actually contribute in paying tax and inorder to contribute to the Ongoing services that will be available to all the citizens of Zimbabwe and South Africa. Zimbabweans should'nt be kicking out South African business from Zimbabwe becuase that is a trade agreement made towards governments if Zimbabweans are to support their own local business to operate then bit it they should act through negotiations with their governmental agencies to do things the right way rather just Kicking out an Aready set up operational South African company in Zimbabwe.
Its just does'nt make any sense because Zimbabweans are as many in SOuth Africa and most has business in SOuth Africa supported by the trade agreements made within the Zim-South Africa trade baleteral. Zimbabwe should wake up and allow competition and go for more available opportunities in Zimbabwe and join the competitive world rather kicking out SOuth African business. What if South Africa were to do the same to make things worse there are more Zim in SOuth Africa and no South Africans in Zimbabwe except the few SOuth African business already operating in Zimbabwe.
