Yawn.
Looks like another report that provides no real role for government in the areas that matter. The paradox is that the roll back of the state that has sought to provide an "enabling environment" for the private sector has actually furthered inequality. And this is exactly what the report advocates.
Nothing new or ground breaking with Sue's article. Maybe Sue should have collaborated with African Professors. Also, Africa is not a country, but a continent, with individual states with their own economic policies. Sue should have focused on one region rather than try to write one article to represent the entire African continent. Europeans have a bad tendency of over simplifying articles on single African states to mean every country.
