A 'More Agile and Responsive' African Development Bank - Report

As it steps up the pace to achieve the "High 5s," the African Development Bank (AfDB) is "reorganising itself to become more agile and responsive to the continent's needs" with a new business model and the establishment of five new regional integration and business delivery offices across the continent. The "High 5s" and the Bank's recent progress are highlighted in the latest edition of the Bank's key monitoring and tracking tool, The Annual Development Effectiveness Review 2016, which was released Monday, June 27, 2016. As the African Development Bank (AfDB) steps up the pace on its Ten Year Strategy to help bring about the structural transformation of the continent, the Bank will focus on 5 high priority areas, which it refers to as "The High 5s".
