South African Police Question Reporter Over 'Leaked' Absa Report

Mail and Guardian journalist Phillip de Wet was questioned by two police officers on the source of a "leaked" draft report by Public Protector Busisiwe Mkhwebane after she laid a complaint. In January, De Wet revealed that the interim report by Public Protector Mkhwebane had recommended that Absa bank pay R2.25 billion to the fiscus for an unlawful apartheid-era bank bailout.
