Mugabe Fires Prosecutor-General Tomana

President Robert Mugabe has fired Prosecutor-General Johannes Tomana following his suspension in March last year on allegations of incompetence and misconduct. In February 2016, Tomana was charged with obstructing the course of justice after he dropped charges against the two army officers accused of attempting to blow up a dairy belonging to Mugabe's family.
