The Italian Ambassador to Nigeria, Stefano Pontesilli, has dismissed reports that Italy sent some migrants, including Nigerians, on the sea route to Europe back to Libya. Pontesilli also revealed that at least 1,500 Nigerians are serving jail terms for various offences in Italy.
