Until We Believe Black Is Beautiful, Skin Bleaching Will Continue

Dermatologists have called for urgent enforcement and regulation of the use and illegal sale of skin bleaching-lightening agents. According to the World Health Organisation, an estimated 77% of Nigerian women use skin-lightening products -  the highest in the world. Skin bleaching can lead skin diseases such as skin cancer and liver or kidney damages.
