Liberia Declares State of Emergency, Lockdown to Fight COVID-19

As the global fight against the coronavirus continues, President George Weah has taken additional restrictive measures, including a declaration of a 21-day state of emergency that can be extended, and the lockdown of all 15 counties for 14 days. These measures come into effect on April 10 at 11:59pm.
