Mnangagwa Vows To 'Flush Out' Critics In Clampdown

President Emmerson Mnangagwa has issued a stern warning to his critics, saying he will flush out "bad apples" that are weakening his administration. This comes after thousands of South Africans joined Zimbabweans in their calls for a just and less corrupt government using the hashtag #ZimbabweanLivesMatter. Tensions in Zimbabwe continue to make global news headlines as videos of police brutality against civilians, activists, and human rights protesters flood social media. There are reports that people who have spoken against the government have either been abducted or jailed after the planned mass protests on July 31.
