Earth Tremor Experienced in Western Kenya, North Rift

According to the Kenya Red Cross, there were no immediate reports of damage after a tremor from a deadly earthquake that hit Tanzania was felt within the country's borders.

The epicentre of the 1227 GMT quake was about 25 kilometres (15 miles) east of the north western town of Nsunga on the border of Lake Victoria/USGS.
