State-Owned Enterprises In Major Shake-Up

The South African Public Enterprises Minister Pravin Gordhan, who is also the country's former finance minister, is stirring things up at companies that have been bleeding money for decades and relying on government bailouts to keep them afloat. Included in the changes is the merging of national airline South African Airways with two smaller airlines, Mango and South African Express, and the naming of a new board to run the troubled energy giant Eskom.
