Grammy-winning Nigerian singer Burna Boy's eagerly awaited concert at FNB Stadium in Johannesburg has officially been cancelled.
His African tour, originally scheduled for September 23, was postponed to December 16 but has now been officially cancelled, due to an alleged ticket scam by event promoter Ternary Media Group (TMG).
Speculation grew on social media around possible low ticket sales as the reason for the postponement, but Burna Boy took to his Instagram account at the time, to assure his fans that he would be coming to South Africa soon.
News of the cancellation was met with relentless trolling from South Africans on social media.
