FIFA 2026 Qualifiers - Liberia Wants Rematch With Tunisia

The football governing body, FIFA, has confirmed receipt of a complaint from Liberia against what the country considers bad officiating by Ivoiran referee Clement Franklin Kpan during its qualifying match against Tunisia on March 19. FIFA said it's referred the matter to the relevant committees for investigation.

Meanwhile, the hopes of Nigeria's Super Eagles hang in the balance after failing to win against Zimbabwe in their qualifying match on March 25. The team now sits in fourth place behind Group C leaders Bafana Bafana of South Africa.

There were a lot of "excellent wins" for southern African nations in the qualifying matches, while others remain in contention for qualification for the finals in the United States, Mexico, and Canada.
