Govt Plans Law Against Zimbabweans Calling for Sanctions

The call comes ahead of the government and ruling party's organised anti-sanctions protests set for October 25, demanding the unconditional removal of the sanctions that government argues is responsible for Zimbabwe's economic woes. The EU and the U.S. imposed sanctions against Zimbabwe in 2000 after they accused the late former president Robert Mugabe of election rigging, the repression of media freedom and human rights violations.
