Corporate Council on Africa and the U.S. Embassy Mauritius co-hosted a reception, ''Building Momentum: U.S.-Mauritius Business Engagement for the CCA Summit,'' to brief U.S. and Mauritian private sector leaders on the upcoming U.S.-Africa Business Summit taking place July 26-29 in Mauritius. Florizelle Liser encouraged the private sector to take full advantage of the Summit through active participation and partnership opportunities. Charge d'Affairs Craig Halbmaier invited business leaders to engage directly with the senior U.S. government officials and private sector executives who will be attending the Summit. Minister of Industry, SME and Cooperatives, Aadil Ameer Meea highlighted the Summit as a platform ''where interests become investments,'' underscoring its role in strengthening U.S.-Mauritius and broader U.S.-Africa commercial partnerships.
