Zimbabwe: Govt Reduces Roadblocks to Four Per Province

The government will from next week reduce the number of roadblocks on the country's roads to only four per province. Read more »
This follows an outcry by motorists and tourists who claimed they were being harassed at the numerous checkpoints dotted along most highways and major city routes. President Robert Mugabe's government has been accused of extensive institutionalization and systematization of corruption within the police force.
